Ave Maria

Alas! Draw near to my heart.
Vicious foes oppose our path but
Evermore shall we fight.

Upon the hill crest of our endeavours
we see the pains we faced and
the triumphs we feast freely for.
Terrors and demons you may
encounter but completion
and the Divine you will come
to absorb and assimilate.

Weakened are you from the battering
for which you soul has endured.
So much you crave peace but
troubles await beyond the hills
you've trodden and conquered.

Your heart churns within you
and I feel the twisting blade
lodged so deep within you.

I cry as you cry, my child.
I sing the same song as you
for never shall I leave you.
In peril and in joy,
I wait with open arms.

Rest now, my child,
for strength will find you soon.
You may not desire this path
but you are called to merge
your image to that of its Original.

Take my hand, for I have been
down roads leading to our goal.
When asked to bear the impossible
respond as I did--surrender your
will for the Greatest Glory.

Simple, we are born.
Extraordinary, we're asked to
assume transformation in total.
By our hands, the world will
wake to wonder's light.
In our heart, our humble actions
speak spiralling splendor to calm
our broken minds.

Mantle, I will wrap you with.
Atonement, my Son has satisfied.
Revelation, we see as fire burns.
Injustice, we're called to conquer.
Adoration, we remain in eternity.
